POLICE are appealing to parents to keep their children at home as groups of youths continue to gather in Weymouth.
Parents are being warned that they could face the courts unless they ensure their children comply with the current lockdown legislation.
A spokesman for Weymouth and Portland Police said: "We've had yet more reports of young people congregating in the area of the Marsh.
"This breaches the government guidelines and puts themselves, their families and the general public at risk.
"In line with current legislation, if a young person is found in breach of the regulations, their responsible adult is liable to be dealt with by the courts and pay the fine which increases with repeat offences with no upper limit.
"Please ensure your children are at home."
