TOMORROW marks the 75th anniversary of VE Day.
Street parties and special events that were due to take place have sadly had to be cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, but it will still be marked by many.
Here are photographs taken across the area on VE Day 1945 sent in by readers, showing parties throughout the region when the end of the war sparked a great sense of joy and relief across the country.
