ON SATURDAY 8 May my husband had a bad fall, injuring his head, near the zebra crossing outside Lodmoor Park. A passing Romanian gentleman and his family called an ambulance and helped my husband into our garden nearby, and stayed with us until the paramedics arrived.
Because of lockdown restrictions I was not able to go to DCH with him, and later collected him by taxi.
Throughout this event, we were helped and comforted so kindly by the family who brought him home, the paramedics and hospital staff and the taxi driver.
We would like to say a warm thank-you to all these lovely people for their kindness.
