A Post Office outreach service is continuing in Broadwindsor during the Covid-19 pandemic.

It takes place every Friday from 10am to 12 noon where anyone who doesn't have the internet can get help accessing it.

The most popular online service has been accessing Skype to see and speak to grandchildren.

Rowland and Helen Cudmore and parish councillors in all areas are becoming contact points for residents and there is also the good neighbour scheme working.

The Dorset Community Foundation has provided the Upper Marshwood Vale Parish Council area with a £2,000 grant to help vulnerable residents.

The Spring edition of the Beneath the Vale Magazine will be available to read online. It is hoped some printed copies will be available, but with the COVID-19 situation that’s not guaranteed.
