ANOTHER person has died in a Dorset hospital after contracting coronavirus.
According to the latest figures released by NHS England, the patient died in the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals Trust
The total number of deaths for COVID-19 patients in the county now stands at 144.
Across England there were a further 187 hospital deaths confirmed in the past 24 hours, bringing the national total to 25,080.
Patients were aged between 14 and 98 years old.
Six of the 187 patients - aged between 46 and 94 - had no known underlying health condition.
Their families have been informed.
To date, 62 people have died in the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals Trust, with 45 deaths in Poole Hospital, 23 in the Dorset County Hospital and 14 in the Dorset Healthcare University Trust.
