A total of 144 people have died at hospitals in Dorset after testing positive for coronavirus.
Another death was reported at Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust yesterday, taking the total to 14, while the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has today recorded another death, taking the total to 62.
There have been no further deaths at Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester, where 23 patients have died, or Poole Hospital, where 45 people have died.
It comes as a further 187 people, who tested positive for Covid-19, have died at hospitals in England, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 25,266.
Patients were aged between 14 and 98 years old. Six of the 187 patients (aged between 46 and 94) had no known underlying health condition.
Their families have been informed.
