A31 near Stoney Cross Picture: GOOGLE MAPS
A crash involving a tipper truck and a van caused traffic delays on the A31 this morning between Stoney Cross and Ringwood.
Police were called at 8am to reports of a collision between an Isuzu tipper truck and a Peugeot Partner van.
The driver of the Peugeot is believed to have suffered minor injuries and one lane was closed.
There were reports of slow traffic on the westbound carriageway between the Fritham and Emery Down turn off at Stoney Cross and Picket Post.
Traffic between Cadnam and Ringwood was affected.
Highways England said a lane was closed while emergency services dealt with the collision.
Ambulance crews were also in attendance.
The road has now been reopened.
