CAN someone in the council please tell me who on earth was involved with the design, and more to the point, the approval of the superloo complex and lifeguard station on the seafront?
I have no issue with the concept; let’s face it they are greatly needed.
However, with the ever increasing cost of the project why oh why did someone not include in the design the use of solar panel roofing?
Not only would it have helped the council meet its environmental targets it would have helped with the running costs in the long term and saved the council further cost.
I’m sure there will be a logical reason for not using modern technology in building and running of new buildings but on the face of things at the moment I can’t see any.
