I AM astounded at the sheer arrogance of people; instead of going to a local park, sitting with family sensibly apart there’s an almighty rush to beaches and beauty spots where sardines have more room between them than people this weekend.
This pandemic is NOT over; sensible easing was a good idea but some people’s actions are just dangerous; and if that wasn’t bad enough - some are jumping off cliffs.
If there is another wave of deaths because of this irresponsible behaviour, I don’t believe those who acted so poorly deserve to be paid for staying at home if we have to lockdown again.
There’s not a bottomless pit of money; we are in a recession already because of this pandemic - be sensible for all our sakes.
