Nominate a business for their 'Customer Service Excellence' at this year's Dorset Echo Industry Awards.

We are celebrating the superb section of industry in our area with the 2020 Dorset Echo Industry Awards to highlight the many companies which make such a huge contribution to our economy - and we want to you to tell us the businesses that make living in Dorset even better.

The awards bring together the best of businesses in the DT postcode sector, recognising and showcasing their achievements.

There are innovative industries, both big and small, operating in fields from food to fashion, tourism to technology, employing thousands of people, exporting around the world or helping to attract visitors to our county and we aim to celebrate their achievements with these prestigious awards.

Our ‘Customer Service Excellence’ award recognises companies with a genuine and innovative focus on customer service. Have you experienced this? If so, then you can nominate them. The judges are looking for a relationship between customer service activities and improved business performance and customer retention, plus a clear understanding of customer needs.

This award is sponsored by Kingston Maurward in Dorchester. A spokesperson said: "We are delighted to be part of the Dorset Echo Industry Awards again, and as advocates of first class customer service at Kingston Maurward College, weddings & conferences, equestrian centre and the Animal Park & Gardens, we take great pride in everything we do. As such we are delighted to be able to support the Customer Service Excellence Award and look forward to meeting businesses with the same customer focussed outlook. Good luck."

Businesses are welcome to nominate themselves. Or, anyone outside a business interested in its impact on the wider community and local economy can enter a nomination in any of the categories.

Once received the nominations will be considered by our judging panel. The judges will be looking to announce the three finalists in each category in the Dorset Echo.
