MY WIFE and I watched the historic launch of the Dragon spacecraft on Saturday evening and its successful docking with the International Space Station on Sunday afternoon.
But we watched in awe some two hours after the lift-off of the SpaceX company craft as it orbited the Earth at some 17,500mph. For some two minutes or more we were able to see the bright twin-lights of the craft as it gave the illusion that it was crossing the beautifully clear Dorset skyscape.
An unforgettable experience.
