The leader of Dorset Council writes to the PM to ask for restrictions on travel (“Council leader calls on Prime Minister to think again on travel restrictions”): Local MP Richard Drax says, “I fully understand the concerns.” Actually he doesn’t.
Mr Drax wrote to me on May 28, saying he supported Dominic Cumming’s travels round the country, and that “I ask myself what I would do in similar circumstances. The answer is, I would do whatever it took…”
The reason why people are travelling all over the country is that lockdown is rotting from the head of government downwards.
Mr Drax is part of that decay. He bears responsibility for the scenes in Bournemouth and Durdle Door, as much as Boris Johnson.
