I recently received an email from my MP Richard Drax in reply to my asking his opinion of the Cummings affair.
He made a stout defence of Mr Cummings, repudiating all criticism of him.
His email contained the follow sentence: “In all this, I ask myself what I would do in similar circumstances. The answer is that I’d do whatever it took to ensure the wellbeing and safety of my family. The answer is subjective, with each one of us acting as we deem appropriate.”
Well shame on you Mr Drax. You seem to have missed the whole point of the corona restrictions, which are designed to put community before self. Your remark is an insult to the millions who have been following your government’s edicts.
