RESIDENTS are warned to be vigilant and be on the lookout for a minibus driver.

Police say the driver of a white Mercedes minibus-type vehicle has been seen in suspicious circumstances.

The vehicle was spotted near farm buildings in the Dorchester area this morning. When approached, the driver sped away.

Officers say they have no further details at this time.

If this vehicle, or other vehicles, are seen in suspicious circumstances, gather as much information as possible, such as the registration number and descriptions of the driver and any passengers, and contact Dorset Police immediately by calling 999 if the vehicle or occupants are seen committing crime.
