Chesil Rocks may not be happening today – but fans can still enjoy some of the artists who would have been appearing.

The family-friendly midsummer music and arts festival hosted by Tim and Hilary Warren at their home at Langton Herring was one of the first events to cancel earlier in the year due to the pandemic.

The event is usually very popular and raises money for Samaritans of Dorset.

The organisers are marking the event with historical footage and some live performances and messages from artists who would have been performing this year on the Chesil Rocks Facebook page. Stories and pictures will also be shared.

A silent auction is also being held of nine original ink on canvas images of black iconic musicians by Hilary Warren which have been painted over the last few weeks. All proceeds from the auction will go to Samaritans of Dorset.

The images can be seen on the Chesil Rocks website www.chesilrocks.com
