A DRIVER was left feeling deflated after he punctured all his tyres by trying to drive into a closed car park.

Purbeck Police were patrolling the Studland area to ensure motorists were parking legally after chaos on the roads over the past few days as thousands of people descended on local beaches during the heatwave.

A spokesman said: "We handed out lots of tickets.

"Then we came across this. It's a vehicle that tried to get into Shell Bay car park after it closed by driving in the exit.

"The exit that has one-way spikes in."
