POLICE have taken action to stop a 23 year old man causing anti-social behaviour in Weymouth's Park District.
The man was served with a Community Protection Notice Warning (CPNW) during a crackdown on problem behaviour today, which also saw a 32 year-old woman being ordered to leave Weymouth after reportedly causing anti-social behaviour near the train station.
Police say the 23 year-old male has been causing anti-social behaviour in the town, but particularly in the Park District.
He has now been banned from entering certain areas, and could be arrested if he is caught breaking the rules set out in the notice.
"He will also be in breach if he acts in an anti-social manner," a police spokesman said.
"If the conditions of the CPNW are not adhered to then the male will liable to arrest. It is only possible for us to take positive action against these individuals if the community report their concerns to us."
The spokesman added: "We have also served a dispersal order on a 32 year-old female at Weymouth Train Station this afternoon after she was causing anti-social behaviour in the locality.
"The dispersal order has directed her to leave Weymouth. She will be arrested if she returns in the next 24 hours."
