A VAN overturned and rush-hour traffic was at a standstill following a three-vehicle crash on the A31 this morning.
Emergency services were at the scene of the incident outside McDonald's in Ferndown, where minor injuries were reported.
The van is believed to have collided with a lorry and another vehicle near the Palmersford roundabout, also known as the David Phipps roundabout, just after 7am.
Traffic was delayed and access towards Ringwood Road towards Sainsbury's was blocked.
There were queues building westbound on the A31 and northbound on Ringwood Road.
Police and fire crews were at the scene and the vehicles were recovered.
The road reopened at 8.40am and one driver was reported for a driving offence.
