AMAZON parcels and a car were stolen by a Poole man who has since been handed a suspended prison sentence.

Jed Albion Hudson, 29, of Lander Close, Poole, admitted committing the offences on June 6 last year when he appeared before Poole magistrates.

The crimes took place in Portchester Road, Bournemouth.

He also pleaded guilty to stealing a second car on June 20 in Winston Road, Bournemouth and driving it with no insurance or licence and failing to stop when required to do so by a police officer.

He was given a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and banned from driving for six months.
