WEYMOUTH: Former consulting rooms at the Abbotsbury Road surgery could be converted into a home.
Dorset Council has received a planning request for a change of use for first floor consulting rooms to a one-bed flat at the 26 Abbotsbury Road property.
The three storey mid-terrace building has a chemists on the ground floor with the building previously linked internally to three former consulting rooms which were once part of the doctor’s surgery next door.
The proposal seeks to create a flat with a living room, kitchen, bedroom and shower room with the only external changes being the addition of a new window on the west elevation of the building.
