Plans have been put forward for a new shop front
The Weymouth Barber Shop in St Mary Street has been given permission for a new shop front and advertising sign.
A planning agent told Dorset Council that work to the shop front had been carried out without permission but was now being changed for a design which fits in better with the surrounding buildings.
The new shop front will be of a Victorian design with an inset central door and timber fascia, traditional for shops in the area.
