COASTGUARDS were mobilised after a diver suffered head and back injuries.
A spokesman for Portland Bill Coastguard Rescue Team said: "The team was tasked by NMOC (National Maritime Operations Centre) to assist South Western Ambulance Service at Portland Marina with a diver who had suffered a head and back injury after being knocked across the deck by a rough wave.
"The diver was assessed by paramedics for his injuries and recovered back to the ambulance, to be taken to DCH for a full check up."
"We wish the diver a speedy recovery."
