WHEN my children were young and no-one would own up to whatever incident it may be, I used to say, “it’s far better just to tell the truth and admit your mistake.”
Well I don’t expect Dorset Council to sit on the naughty step but please be big enough to admit you were wrong, to close the harbour. Blaming it on “beach weather days” when it’s been pretty dull and not even summer holidays yet, well!
Be brave, be bold, admit you were wrong but then call for an open forum to discuss this, including ALL interested parties.
Such a dictatorial attitude gets no-one on your side. As I have stated before, you cannot do things piecemeal, especially concerning traffic. Small changes have a knock on affect throughout the town. Come on, let’s play together, nicely.
