A woman who 'collapsed' at Weymouth Beach was pulled from the sea by coastguards today.
Wyke Coastguard officers said they were called to Weymouth Beach just before midday following reports that 'a lady had collapsed.'
A spokesman for the coastguard said the woman was pulled from the water and was taken to an ambulance before being transported to Dorset County Hospital's Accident and Emergency department.
RNLI Lifeguards from Weymouth and West Dorset worked with crew members from South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust to rescue the woman.
