TWO people were rescued from the Portland Port breakwater after their boat suffered engine difficulties.
During the incident, which took place yesterday, the crew members managed to get their boat alongside the breakwater and climb to safety before being rescued by the Portland pilot boat.
Coastguards were called to carry out a welfare check on the two people at around 4.34pm.
A spokesman for Portland Bill Coastguard Rescue Team said: "Both persons found to be safe and well. Quest marine later recovered the vessel from the breakwater back to Ferrybridge to be reunited with its owner."
