Police say they are 'very concerned' about a man who went missing this morning.

Officers are searching for Zach Hill-Walsh, who has gone missing from Weymouth, and would like help from the public to find him.

Zach, 26, left his home address in Chestnut Place at 5.30am this morning to go to the beach with his two dogs. He failed to return and was reported missing at 11.28am.

He is described as white, five feet 11 inches tall, of slim build and with gingery grey hair. He was wearing a camouflage jacket and blue jeans.

His dogs are a collie cross and a Jack Russell cross and both are black and white.

Chief Inspector Steve May, of Dorset Police, said: “We are very concerned about Zach as we understand he has been upset lately.

“It is possible that Zach may not have gone to the beach and instead travelled out of Weymouth to another part of Dorset, or out of the county. I am appealing to anyone who has seen Zach, or a man matching the description given to please contact Dorset Police immediately.

“If Zach himself sees this appeal, please contact us or your family as we want to ensure you are safe and well.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to where Zach might be should contact Dorset Police at dorset.police.uk, via email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting number 15:168.
