IT’S official. Corfe Castle is one of the most ‘Instagrammable’ villages in the UK.
The picturesque Purbeck village has been revealed as the 10th prettiest when it comes to achieving the perfect picture on Instagram.
Property website Bankrate compiled a list of the 20 most Instagram-worthy villages after assessing the number of hashtags 100 villages around the UK each recorded.

The harbour village of Clovelly in north Devon was crowned the UK’s most ‘Instagrammable’ spot.
According to the data, Clovelly been captured on Instagram 134,353 times.
Portmeirion in Wales was runner-up with 114,323 hashtags.
While Corfe Castle had 62,995 hashtags on Instagram.

Other locations featured in the list include Castle Combe in Wiltshire, Castleton in Derbyshire and Grasmere in Cumbria.
Bourton-on-the-Water in Gloucestershire, Robin Hood’s Bay in north Yorkshire, Bamburgh in Northumberland and Bibury in the Cotswolds were also included.

A spokesperson for Bankrate said: “To find the most Instagrammable villages, Bankrate.com/uk trawled through Google to find pages of the UK’s most “picturesque”, “beautiful” and “prettiest” villages listed online and noted down 100 recurring village locations.”
