A WEYMOUTH town centre bar has had its licence suspended following reports of anti-social behaviour.

A spokesman for Weymouth and Portland Police said: "We've been receiving complaints from the public regarding anti-social behaviour in the Maiden Street area.

"As a result, Dorset Police and Dorset Council licensing team have this afternoon applied for a review of the licence of the Fat Cat Bar and associated businesses.

"The panel have suspended the licence pending a full review that will take place in the coming weeks.

"We will continue to work with our partners to reduce anti social behaviour in Weymouth town centre."
