LOCAL businesses which have struggled through the lockdown period have the chance to win a business recovery prize worth £12,000.
South Western Railway launched the initiative to support business which have been hit the hardest by the pandemic. The rail company is asking members of the public to nominate businesses who they think deserve the prize.
The recovery packages include £2,000 worth of bespoke equipment and marketing support from South Western Railway, including promotional activity within train stations.
There are five prizes to be won with a further two businesses in with a chance of winning the top prize, a tailored business package along with advertising on either Smooth or Heart Radio.
Those who nominate a business will be entered into a draw to win one of two £1,000 cash prizes.
Peter Williams, commercial director at South Western Railway, said: “Local businesses are the lifeblood of the regional economy, now more than ever it's important we support them. This campaign will allow our customers to celebrate the local businesses that are at the heart of their communities.”
