A CANCER rehab initiative will be welcoming back participants in the coming weeks.

C’Fit’s Cancer Rehabilitation Exercise scheme will resume on Wednesday July 29 at 9.30am at Osprey Leisure Centre. The organisation has ensured that the class will take place whilst the rest of the centre is effectively closed. C’Fit is a part of the Weymouth and Portland Cancer Support Group, C’Siders.

The classes will take place with new measures in place to ensure the safety of participants.

n Participants are requested not to arrive early and, if possible, to take their own blood pressure before class.

n Social distancing measures will be in place n Come dressed for class to avoid accessing the changing rooms n Toilets will be in use with an enhanced cleaning regimen n People are asked to bring their own drinks n Each person will be required to bring their own equipment – no sharing n Face masks are not currently advised for exercise so they will not be required n There will be a maximum of 14 people per class so those attending will have to book their place in advance.
