Cliffs at Eype
COASTGUARDS were alerted after a dog was spotted running loose on cliffs at Eype.
A spokesman for Lyme Regis Coastguard said: "We were tasked alongside our colleagues from West Bay to reports of a dog loose on the cliff at Eype.
"There was some concern that with the dog's owners may have followed the dog over the cliff.
"On arrival the owners of the dog and the dog were quickly located safe and well and both teams were stood down.
"False alarm with good intent."
