I was so shocked to read of the death of Mrs Valerie Mitchel (June 23rd in obituaries)
Having seen her on the Weymouth scene for many years, only knowing of her partial sight disability.
I was amazed at her capabilities.
What a brave lady, a remarkable woman who did not let her adversity come in the way of her lifestyle.
She liked to give, her kindness to humanity was exceptional.
An inspiration to all, a true hero.
RIP Valerie.
