A woman suffered head and spinal injuries when she fell at a beauty spot.
Swanage coastguards were called to Studland to assist South Western Ambulance Service on Tuesday night.
A walker had fallen on the track, breaking her arm and receiving head and spinal injuries.
Coastguards assisted paramedics carrying the injured woman to the ambulance.
She was taken to Poole Hospital for further treatment.
