Officers searching for a missing man in the Weymouth area have announced he has been found.

At 11.55pm on Monday, July 27, Dorset Police received a report raising concern for the welfare of Christopher Brady, aged 28 and from Hertfordshire, who had been staying at an address in the Upwey area as he visited Weymouth. It was reported that he had left the address on foot in the direction of Ridgeway Hill.

Christopher is described as white, six feet tall and of slim build with blond hair. He was wearing a black and grey top and skinny jeans.

Chief Inspector Rob Chalkley, of Dorset Police, said: “We understand Christopher was upset as he left the address where he was staying and he is not familiar with the area so we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“We are carrying out searches in the vicinity and I would urge anyone with information as to his whereabouts, or who sees a man matching the description given, to please contact police immediately.

“I would also make a direct plea to Christopher if you see this to please make contact with us or your family as we just want to make sure you are safe.”

He has now been located safely.
