Police are appealing for witnesses following reports of a man with a knife in Weymouth.
Police were called to Douglas Road where a party was taking place inside an address at about 12.30am on Saturday, July 25.
It was reported that a confrontation occurred near the address, where a man was allegedly armed with a knife. No threats were made and no injuries were sustained.
Police Sergeant Richard Barnett, of Weymouth police, said: βAn investigation is underway and I am appealing to anyone who attended the party and saw a man with a knife, or witnessed what happened, to please contact Dorset Police.β
