Temporary toilets on Weymouth seafront were temporarily closed, due to an act of suspected vandalism.
A Weymouth Town Council Spokesperson said yesterday: "Due to suspected vandalism, the temporary toilets on the Pavillion Forecourt are currently out of order - please do not use these facilities.
"All other public toilets (with the exception of King’s Statue) remain open, and the public are also permitted to use the facilities located inside Alexandra Gardens."
It is understood the problem was a broken soil pipe leading from the toilets to the sewers.
The toilets have now been reopened, with the exception of the accessible toilet that has a broken lock. The incident was not reoprted to the police.
