Police are appealing for information after a stable was burgled in the Sherborne area.

A stable was broken into on Saturday, July 25. A Dorset Police spokesman said: "Thieves believed to have been driving a blue Seat Leon or Seat Ibiza used a metal stake to attempt to prise open a padlock on the stable door.

"This attempt failed, and they then used the stake to prise open the door causing damage to the door and frame. Once inside, the thieves stole horse hair clippers and other items valued at approximately £130."
