A woman has been airlifted to hospital after falling from a cliff.
Emergency services were called to Old Harry Rocks this afternoon.
HM Coastguard co-ordinated rescue efforts after a woman was reported to have fallen from the cliff just before 4pm.
Swanage and St Albans coastguard rescue teams, together with both Swanage RNLI lifeboats, were sent along with the coastguard helicopter from Lee-on-Solent.
The air ambulance, Dorset Police, Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service and South Western Ambulance Service also attended.
According to Purbeck Police, the woman was aged in her 60s.
The woman was taken by HM Coastguard’s helicopter to Southampton General Hospital.
The full extent of injuries is unknown.
