A 74-year-old man unconscious on the coast and a teenager with a dislocated knee who had been on the beach for more than an hour caused the coastguard to race to Lyme Regis.
Lyme Regis Coastguard was called this morning just before 7am to help find the man who was reported to have lost conciousness between Charmouth and Lyme Regis.
He was found on the sea wall east of Lyme Regis and passed into the care of the ambulance service.
The team were also called out last night (Monday) just after 8pm to help the ambulance service with a teenager who had a dislocated knee on Lyme Regis beach.
A spokesman for Lyme Regis Coastguard said: "On arrival at main beach and with the ambulance still on route, the coastguards gave primary casualty care. The casualty had been lying on the beach for over an hour.
"The casualty was carefully packaged onto a stretcher and taken to the lifeboat station. Once the ambulance arrived, the casualty was handed over to them for further care. He was then taken to Dorset County Hospital.
"We wish the casualty a speedy recovery."
