A man who fell unconscious after a snorkelling trip off the Purbeck coast sparked an emergency response.
Paramedics and coastguards were called to Worbarrow Bay, east of Lulworth, yesterday.
Both Lulworth and Kimmeridge Coastguard Rescue Teams were scrambled to help the ambulance service with the casualty.
A spokesman for the Lulworth team said: "On arrival, the teams found the now conscious man receiving an assessment from the paramedics.
"After a short time, the gentleman was able to make his own way to the ambulance for onward transportation to hospital.
"The teams were stood down at this point, and returned to their respective stations."
