Weymouth had its hottest day of the year so far on Saturday – 32.8 degrees.
The beach and harbourside were packed as crowds flocked to the resort, and it's just as busy today as the heatwave continues.
It is not as expected to be hot as Saturday though when the resort was baking. Even by the evening the temperature was 29C at 7.30pm.
The high temperatures will continue into the new week although there is a warning of thunderstorms.
During hot weather, Public Health Dorset says it is best to stay out of the direct sun, especially between 11am and 3pm as UV rays are strongest during these hours.
Make sure you wear light, loose clothing and have plenty of water with you to keep hydrated.
Look out for older people and others who may find it more difficult to stay cool and hydrated in hot weather.
