IMAGES have been released of a number of bikes suspected of being stolen, in an attempt to identify the owners.
Dorset Police was called to an address on the Esplanade at around 9pm on Monday night. There they found a number of bicycles that are suspected to have been stolen.
A 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted theft of a bicycle and has been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.
The recovered bikes include a white Carrera mountain bike with silver writing, a limited-edition Carrera mountain bike and a red Giant Yukon Mountain bike.
Police constable Don Duchscherer, of Weymouth Police, said: “I am really keen to identify the owners of the bikes and would urge anyone with information to please contact us.”
