DORSET is in for another sweltering day with thunder storms forecast.

Weather will be hot and sunny with thunderstorms developing, mainly through the afternoon, the Met Office says.

The yellow weather warning of 'severe thunderstorms' remains in place across the whole of the UK, until the end of tomorrow.

According to forecasters, while it's possible that we may see a few thunderstorms this morning, conditions will mostly be hot and sunny.

"During the afternoon more widespread storms are likely to develop," a Met Office spokesman said.

Meanwhile temperatures could rise to a maximum of 32 °C today.

We're more likely to get thunderstorms through the evening and overnight, clearing up by the morning. Minimum temperatures will be 18 °C - so another hot and humid night is in store.

Tomorrow will be slightly cooler, however.

A Met Office spokesman said: "A fine and sunny day for some, though skies will be hazier than recently, and scattered thundery showers are once again likely to break out.

"Still feeling very warm. Maximum temperature 27 °C."
