The A35 at Chideock Hill has been partially blocked.
A broken down lorry at Muddyford Lane caused delays for motorists.
Further delays were caused by another broken down vehicle on the A35 near the B3261 affecting traffic between Abbey Gate and Raymond's Hill.
Both incidents have been cleared.
