THOUSANDS of students across Dorset are preparing to find out the results to their A-Levels and exams tomorrow.

It’s been a tumultuous and difficult time for most students since March, and we know tomorrow will be hard for some people, while joyous for others.

Due to social distancing measures, we will be tweaking how we cover the day to ensure safety to everyone.

As usual, we will have live updates on our website and social channels of all the results coming in from schools. Information can be sent to newsdesk@bournemouthecho.co.uk and we want to hear from as many as possible.

Rather than having multiple reporters attending lots of different schools, we’re asking for pictures to be sent to us to minimise any transmission risk to staff, pupils and families.

We know a lot of colleges and sixth forms are limiting the number of visitors to their premises already.

The same will apply next week when we cover GCSE Results Day on Thursday August 20.

We hope you understand. We want to hear from anyone who has an interesting story to tell. But in these ‘new normal’ times, we will be socially distanced.
