Police are asking for the public's help to find a missing man.

Thomas Harper, who is 35 years old, was reported missing at 8.19pm on Wednesday, August 12, as he left his home address in High Street in the Wyke Regis area of the town being very upset.

He is described as white, five feet eight inches tall, with short curly blond hair. He is wearing a red T-shirt, khaki green shorts and grey trainers.

Chief Inspector Alan Setchell, of Dorset Police, said: “As Thomas was very upset when he left his home, we are very concerned for his welfare.

“He does not have access to a car and left his home on foot. Officers have been searching the area and made a number of enquiries, but have so far been unable to locate Thomas.

“We urgently need to find him to make sure he is safe and well. I am hoping somebody might have seen Thomas since yesterday evening and can help us find him.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to where Thomas might be is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting incident number 12:586.
