Our second New Arrivals page of the week features some lovely little humans.

Born to parents in this area, all eight of these newborns look adorable.

Read on to hear some of the birth stories behind these little bundles of joy.

We start off with a lovely new arrival born to Wool parents...

Dorset Echo:

Ellis Rhys Lockitt Blower, born June 10 weighing 7lb 7oz to Rachael Lockitt and Stephen Blower of Wool. Brother to Sienna and Evelyn.

Rachael tells us: "Ellis is the final addition to our family, a baby brother for Sienna (6) and Evelyn (4). Born by planned c-section, his arrival was much calmer in comparison to the emergency c-sections his sisters chose! All three children were born at Dorset County Hospital, where the care from all departments has been outstanding. As an outpatient with an autoimmune condition, all three pregnancies were monitored with exceptional care from all consultants , doctors, midwives and nurses we encountered and we are externally grateful to all departments who have played a part in ensuring the safe arrival of our three children."

Dorset Echo:

Emily Jane Dove, born May 26 at DCH, weighing 7lb 12oz to Alison Gillespie and David Dove of Wool.

Dorset Echo:

Rosie Eadith Walker, born May 13 at home in Weymouth weighing 6lb 3oz to Honey Bown and Thomas Walker. Little sister to Evelyn and Archie.

Honey tells us: "Rosie's birth happened very quickly and unexpectedly, on the 13th May. she arrived at home in the bathroom, 9 days past her due date. We didn't have time to get to the hospital as it all happened so fast. Luckily the paramedics arrived just as she was being born. It was quite an amazing experience."

Dorset Echo:

Caden Paul Willsher, born April 22 at DCH weighing 3lb 7oz to Sarah Trickey and Paul Willsher of Crossways. Little brother to Finley, Leo & Jaxon.

Sarah tells us: "Caden surprised us 8 weeks early, born by emergency c section at 31+6 without daddy present. It’s been an emotional rollercoaster with Caden needing to be transferred to Portsmouth NICU for a week before coming back to SCBU at DCH. He was almost 6 weeks old before he could meet his big brothers due to covid restrictions. Back home now where he belongs all thanks to the love & care from SCBU. This lockdown babe's one brave little warrior!!"

Dorset Echo:

Theo Lee Dunlop, born May 5 at DCH weighing 7lb 9oz to Abbie McKay and Matthew Dunlop of Weymouth.

Abbie tells us: "I spent 4 days in hospital alone whilst being induced.
My induction failed and Theo entered the world via emergency c-section.
It was hard being alone but very much worth it.
"I'm very grateful to all of the staff at DCH for all of the support given to us during our stay at these difficult times."

"I had a difficult labour and was taken to theatre for a c section, unbeknown to everyone Lydia has other ideas.

"She started coming out as I was being taken down for the c section. I gave birth to her within seconds. Thank you to all the staff at DCH, you were amazing."

Dorset Echo:

Mason John Curtis, born April 3 at DCH weighing 6lb 7oz to Kayleigh Curtis of Sturminster Newton. Little brother for Holly-Louise.
