REMOTE controlled tanks will be putting on a show at Nothe Fort this weekend.
The event, organised by the Southern Armour Group, will display a variety of fully functioning, remote controlled scale models, including tanks alongside a number of other military vehicles.
The display will take place on Saturday September 5, from 11am to 4pm.
There will be demonstrations throughout the day with the tanks driving around the Fort’s parade ground and ramparts.
The remote controlled models come complete with engine noises, smoke and gun sounds and are described by the fort as "just like the real thing, only smaller".
Usual entry charges will apply, with those who have annual passes allowed free entry. Those who purchase an entry ticket to the fort on the day will be entitled to free re-entry for the remainder of the year.
