A LORRY driver faces having his licence confiscated after he was caught using his mobile phone while driving.
The man was stopped by police after he was caught speaking to his wife on his phone while driving the lorry on the A35 near Puddletown yesterday.
A spokesman for the Dorset Police No Excuse team said: "The company that own this vehicle have installed CCTV cameras in their vehicles, which we will use as evidence. Along with hands free equipment, which the driver decided not to use.
"The driver was reported to court and now faces having his HGV licence removed, which will have an effect on his job. Why risk it? No Excuse #dontdrivewhilstusingamobilephone"
