Dorset Echo:

Thomas Allan Aplin, born August 25 at DCH weighing 7lb 5oz to Hannah and Jason Aplin of Dorchester. Little brother for Hollie.

Hannah tells us: "Thomas came five weeks early by emergency C section. He spent nearly two weeks on SCBU. The staff on SCBU and Maternity were amazing. Thomas is now home with his big sister Hollie."

Dorset Echo:

Reuben James Hutchings, born September 2 at home in Weymouth weighing 8lb 5oz to Hannah and Joe Hutchings. Little brother for Finley.

Hannah tells us: "This was a bit of a different story to the birth of Finley, but just as much of a whirlwind in the end.

"My waters went unexpectedly on the 1st September, but my labour didn't start and I wasn't having any contractions.

"The following afternoon and still no contractions or signs later, I opted for a sweep to try and kick-start labour to enable me to still birth at home, which thankfully did the trick.

"An hour after phoning the midwives and Reuben made his grand entrance in the same spot in the lounge as his big brother did two years ago.

"Yet another extremely positive and relaxed homebirth experience that we will always be very grateful of the lovely ladies over at the Cygnet Homebirth Team for."

Dorset Echo:

Reuben James Daniel Butler, born September 3 at DCH weighing 4lb 7oz to Hollie Milnes and Dougie Butler of Weymouth. Little brother for Phoebe (pictured above) and Willow.

Hollie tells us: "I had a growth scan at 28 weeks, which showed I had low amniotic fluids and that our baby was measuring small for his gestation.

"My pregnancy was consultant led up till 36 weeks when I had a C-Section. We stayed at DCH for 5 days, as Reuben had difficulty maintaining his temperature at first."
